Straight out of Chicago, Kids These Days are meant to set for big things according to Mike Waxx. I wasn't sure about the song at first to be honest, however it grew on me by the second listen. I especially like it when all the instrumentation comes together in the latter part of the song.

If only these didn't have the ugly as fuck toe cap, they would be something I would look into getting. 

I'm loving the reptile textured swoosh and the colour, you just can't knock the colour. 

Nike branding on the heel tab is emblazoned in the the tradition Stussy scrawl and the words "Past, Present and Future" on the inner sole. Another bit of detail that comes as a nice touch is the double S on the tongue.

Yeah you've probably already heard this on the new J Cole Mixtape that dropped a couple weeks ago.
But I think its a good song to start your week with, the beat drives on and J cole sounds positively famished on it. I would like to think that songs like this encourage the hustle , grind , slog or whatever you wish to call it.

Hermes threw a nice litte shindig a few days ago in celebration of Jai mon carre [ I love my scarf ]. A new campaign that they're running with, they've got a pop up shop open for an extremely limited time, so if you like your luxury head / neckwear get yourself down there.

On Saturday I had the pleasure of going down to 1948 after it had been closed for two weeks for the destroy to create event.



I've been to a fair few brand parties and this one really really impressed me. The Destroyer jackets on show in cracked glass cases looked amazing and I really took a taking to the one designed for Nadal with the word "Wimbledon," emblazoned on it.

Stalley made an appearance performed Harsh Ave [ski beats murdered this beat] and S.t.a.l.l.e.y, then new punk thrash metal group The Gallows created a mosh pit in a boxing ring that two girls had just had a punch up in.

It ended at 10 but it was a good evening, shame I didn't do fuck all afterwards.

The beat is smooth and its the perfect leak for the ladies for J coles Mixtape Friday Night Lights which is dropping sometime on Friday. Only thing is I think I've heard these J cole lyrics before, anyway I'm surprised that Drizzy doesn't get into some singing on this record. Its not a rap off though, just something sweet.

Music Monday - Last Roll (Domo Genesis)

I've just got Domo's mixtape Rolling Papers, he's reppin' the Oddfuture gang who have got an incredible buzz right now, apparently they're going to be the new Wu Tang or some shi*.  The beats are pretty ill, laid back and crushed basses an all round progressive hip hop sound. 

Last roll is the last joint [weed jokes] on this tape, might not be the best thing to wake up to, but its a tune that can ease you into the working week, and provide memories of a hazy weekend.

Yo Leakers as you might or might no know, I do a bit of blogging here and there for other peoples. I got the fam at PnB, the RPC [Rubypseudo Consulting Company] gang, Jez at Shook Magazine and most recently I've done a little bit for MTV sticky.

Music Monday - Good Morning New Orleans (Mickey Factz)

I was put onto this by Hnw Kwarm and even though I did download Mickey Latest Mixtape "I'm Better Than You," I've only listened to the first few tracks, "Diamond Dust," being the first track on the tape and my favourite. Though GMNO has now given me some food for thought. I didn't think this was Mickey's style but apparently it's how he gets down. 

Its perfect Monday Music you know to rise and grind and all that twitter shit.
