NHNT - Cypher 3

Who win's you choose, Dream Mclean, Random Impulse , Griminal and Lioness.

Friday To Saturday - Pics and Shit

I'm knackered no Carnival for me this Monday, I'm wounded, wounded I say. It all began on Friday when I touched down at the Reset IIII and spent way too much money, I also heard about Ghett's performing at the Gshock party so I flew down there with Kwarmz the wonder villain to check it all out.  When we got there it turned out that we had missed all the performances, but i wasn't too phased  it wasn't something the success of my weekend was based on.
I was back at the Reset IIII on saturday, I think I may have got a little snap happy but now the damage is done so here are the pictures.

I love LDN, I do...honest

Gymkana Three: Feat The Cool Kids

Have you heard about Ken Block? He's a real sick stunt driver from the states and it seems he's got a movement going on in conjunction with DC, he's got his own shows with them or something like that. DC also have The Cool Kids on their rosta and enlist them to shoot a video to their new song "Clicking," which they (DC) admit is really just a glorified advert, but I don't really mind because the song bangs.
I don't really care for the kicks, which you'll see close up from various different angles all through this video. But I do care for the array of seriously ill shots and camera tricks (can you call them that?).

Observe...

Nice init...

Glad to see Chuck and Mikey getting some mainstream money #notinchy

Foreign Exchange - Authenticity - Track Listing

The 3rd Studio album from Nicolay and Phontigallo is ready. I loved Connected so much and enjoyed Leave It All Behind,so I can't wait to get my hands on this one. Ready for release on the 12th Of October and features Jesse Boykins III (that record is going to be incredible) Zo!, Median, Dariel Brockington and YahZarah. It's a 11 Track Album, and usually I'd have a whole heap of shi* to say about how I hate lazy short LP's but I'm hearing that this is going to be the most diversealbum from the FE yet.

Check the track listing:

1. The Last Fall
2. Authenticity
3. Eyes To The Sky
4. All Roads
5. Fight For Love
6. Maybe She’ll Dream Of Me
7. Don’t Wait feat. Darien Brockington
8. Make Me A Fool feat. Jesse Boykins III & Median
9. Everything Must Go
10. Laughing At Your Plans feat. Chantae Cann
11. This City Ain’t The Same Without You feat. YahZarah

Here's what Phonte had to say about the groups progression into their new sound.

“I think every band reaches that point when they come into their own and find a sound that is distinctively theirs,” says Phonte in reference to the album’s title. “The title refers to me and Nic’s journey to find our own unique space within this vast musical landscape. The biggest challenge as a musician is to find that ‘thing’ that makes you who you are. But I think we’re getting there, and we’re finding our way more and more with each record.”

KANO on Ras Kwame MC session

Always rated Kano's flow, I think he's smooth and quite poetic. Well see his Radio1/1xtra peformances which came out yesterday..

Kano - Upside ft. Michelle Breeze (Ras Kwame MC Session)

Kano - Spaceship (Ras Kwame Exlcusive MC Session)

G.R.I.N.D - The Bread And Butter Collection

Getting Rich Is No Dream have got a brand new collection ready to drop for the Reset 4. The brand have been about for while, and they seem be going onwards and upwards with every new bit of clobber.
The G.R.I.N.D boys continue with the boldly printed Tee's and add a smart button down into the mix as well as a nice beanie for the coming cold months.

Be sure to come down to the Reset IV, 27 August The Arches Batemans Row EC2A 3HH and get on your G.R.I.N.D .

Stix - Silencer Freestyle

Stix is my man, from L.A to the UK he's putting it down.

He's got whole catalogue ready to come out, trust me.

Mac Miller - Nike's On My Feet

Kicks and Rap, these two go together like batty and bench or pea's in a pod. Whatever analogy you wish to use you get the point. From the Run DMC's "My Adidas," to Nelly's "Air Force 1's." Sneaker or Trainer culture and Hip Hop are always going to be synonymous with each other.
Mac Miller is s spitter in the mould of Wiz Khalifa, in the respect that his catalogue is based around the consumption of kush, women and partying is one of the latest to pay homage to that company in Oregon, in his laid back ode to footwear "Nikes On My Feet".

You feeling this? Grab Millers new Mixtape K.I.D.S, apparently he's Kicking Incredibly Dope Shi*.

Also here's some kicks that didn't make the blog and you can decide if they make the grade...

Robyn's live A.Keys Cover

This is Robyn's cover of Sleeping with a broken heart. Not sure if it beats Alicia, but it's different. And she rocks.

Sincere X Mayer Hawthorn (written in the stars remix)

I'm feeling this, I must say expect I didn't expect Sincere to be on this type of vibe. But I like it, it's not fantastic but at least not that watered down danceytranceygrime shit that everyones churning out at the moment.

Music Monday...High Rise (Big Sean)

Love this beat to bits, Don Cannon did the right thing. If you don't know about Big Sean he's signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D Music imprint. He's pretty much about women, kicks and weed, well thats what I've gathered so far. He rides this one.

Funktional Art- by Ms Badu

The huge quirky earrings Erykah Badu was seen wearing at Lollapalooza, has been announced to be part of her new jewellery collection; ‘Funktional Art’. Her earings, (or as she calls them, baduwings/earwings), will be on sale on her website erykahbadu.com, by the end of august. She also has plans on selling them in boutiques around the world, including Chicago, Paris and London.

Badu on baduwings and the rest of her line:
"It's the beginning of a new thing for me… I'm working with different designers to come up with things that fit me and fit the fans who support me and fit the women who feel free and can fly."

Eman- Testing The Water (Unthinkable Freestyle)

Damn, I know Eman from back in the day, he just dropped this on me on a random one. It's fire. I think this is the best Unthinkable freestyle I've heard point blank, I've wheeled it uncountable times, punch after punch, theres so many quotable's .

"I was testing the water now I'm going in"

Nike X Jay Z - All Black Everything

It don't get, no better than this (Incorrect grammar I know).Out of all the Nike Sportswear collaborations that we've seen over the years, I think this might be the biggest. In celebration of the World Basketball Festival brought to you by the good people at Converse, Jordan and Nike, some extremely limited edition AF1's have been created for the man and the legend that is Jigga man. Who will be performing at New York Radio City Music Hall along side the USA's 2010 World Championship Basketball Team, the whole show will be streamed live HERE on August the 12 at 6.00 EST. So be sure to tune in.

Since there will be only 10 Nike "Hov's" 2 pairs of each design, one pair will be for Jay Z whilst the others will be auctioned off on eBay, and the funds generated will go to the Sean Carter Scholarship Foundation. If you want to try your hand at getting these exlccuuussiivvee kicks, first make sure your moneys long secondly go HERE.

Preppy school girl meets grandma and a skanky older brother

I do love Alexa Chung’s style; which is why when my cash flow becomes more, well, flow-full, I’ll definitely be having a serious look at her new collection for the brand Madwell. The new line was previewed earlier this year at New York Fashion week.

She’s described her personal look as ‘preppy school girl meets grandma and a skanky older brother’ This collections has splashes of 40’s tea dresses, 60’s mod dresses and cuteness. Confusion? Yes. But it works.

Will be available for autumn season, can't wait!

Bashy- Fantasy

This is going to do well, If it don't I'll eat my hat. The fact that the beat is already sampled from a UK banger just helps it's cause, and Bashy does enough to make it agreeable on the ears. The video is cool, though I don't understand how he went from west end shopper to the black Robinson Crusoe.
Anyways TeamUK stand up and all that good shi*

Trying To Cop - Airforce 1 Hi 3M

Not really the biggest fan of high top AF1's, I think that they are tall and chunky enough without the extra strap and uppers added on. However this particular model is tickling my fancy, It's got reflective uppers as well as a reflective swoosh and the black sole and strap add that nice bit of contrast. I really like these and they're rumoured to be making there way to selected Nike stores real soon.

I'm thinking 1948...maybe?

Nice eh.

Soon the whole world is gonna be 3D!! ..wait, it already is?

This super realistic 3D projection on a building makes me think that technology is going to far. I already can’t go to the cinema without thinking something is gonna hit me in the face, now this!

it's retty sick though

Janelle Monae: Cold War and Tears

Janelle Monae breaks down in tears in the middle of her new ‘Cold War’ video. In paradox to other artists today, the SONG is bursting with content while the VIDEO is simple. Well, when I say simple I mean it’s just a head shot, but you do take from it what you will.
As far as the lyrics go, it’s thick with messages. She is showing herself to be one of the better song writers of today… don’t you think?

I think she will be around for a while now.

Hellooo There!

Why, Hello!? My name is Lara, i'm joining The Leak to give it a more femanine touch! I am delighted to bring you my version of what is 'exclusive' so lets have some fun..

First I will tell you to try this, it’s better than sex:

And I’ve been TOLD sex is pretty good!

Music Monday...Get Money (Hef)

Erm this is Dutch rap, found it in the early morning of today of FS Green's website. I think it's Dutch trap rap and I have little clue what the bruvva is saying however the beat bangs and the chorus I can make out.

So get money.

Yes Yes Y'all, J Electronica is bizzack in the LDN for a one off show at Cargo. Jay Electronica has be known to put on quite the show. Ask Kwarmz  and he'll tell you all about it, as the Heynuworld posse checked him out when he first touched base at the Jazz Cafe early this year.

In other news London rapper Thai-Matic (remember this) who's just dropped his third mixtape Let Me Land will be supporting J Elec on the night, which is a big look for the MC.

Wale - More About Nothing Mixtape

I haven't dropped a Mixtape on here for a hot minute. So here goes, Wale has released his brand new Mixtape "More About Nothing," for you Leakers. He's been quiet for a while but I can't lie Kwarmz brought me in on his Eye Of The Tiger joint which was very, very strong.
Also an American homie OllieTheGreat is giving this tape major props.

started listening to the mixtape at 2:15PM and finished it at 3:30. the mixtape is crazy!

I haven't listened to it so I'll be giving it the once over the same time as you lot, so hit the pic for the music.

That's the Leakage.

Music Monday...The Damage Is Done (Grafh)

I used to love this dude's ish, like reallllyyy love it. At one point Grafh was all that I was listening to. It even got to a stage I was arguing that the New Yorker was one of the best spitters of out generations. He wasn't.
Anyway he got sighned to Sony...dropped and released an "Album," independently which was iiiitteee but Nothing was touching the Oracle Mixtape.

Grafh-Damage Is Done

I was on twitter and someone's retweet reminded of one of the adlibs on the song.

I think my liver is going to start screaming "The Damage Is Done," reaaall soon if I dont ease off the enjoyment.
