My favourite Hip Hop Group of all time have released their last album The Villa Manifesto.
This is one of the leaks and those who are sceptical about Young RJ stepping up to the plate as main producer, he smashes this instrumental into pieces.
Slum are a part of Hip hop history it's a shame they gotta fade to black, but it has been a long time coming.

?uestlove In London
Props to the Doctors Orders, Spin Doc is always on the grind on the :ondon Hip Hop circuit.
?uestlove from the Legendary roots crew has come across the pond, it's going to be a dope night if you love that real. Be sure to get your tickets early these things go, believe me I know.
Creative Control does the CooLKids
I love a creative control piece, they're shot really well and always seem to give you more than just minutes of random performance footage. They build a short story if you like, this one should be called "The CoolKids catch a cab," featuring cameo's from KidCudi , Dame Dash and Curren$y.

Nike X Insa
Graffiti artist and designer Insa and Nike have come together to collaborate on that staple piece of clothing the white Tee. I don't think the design is that big a dea,l I've seen Nike do similar things before, with their "Noise," Tee's. But If a chick rolls up rocking the Tee like the girl below it's going to be the start of a very fruitful friendship.

I didn't know Nike was into soft porn either...

Music Monday...Sunshine (Mikey Rocks)
You don't really hear solo music from the Cool Kids and until I heard this tune I'm not sure that I wanted to either. But Mikey does well on "Sunshine," the beats speaks for itself with Chicago's Productionix on the buttons.
My little sister who I use as my weather station, told me it's going to be hot today, and I to trust her more than BBC weather news. So I thought "Sunshine," was an appropraite title for todays Music Monday.

J-Cole "Premeditated Murder,"

I heard it's not an album joint, and still no word on the Title...ah well.

Low Limit - Trapper Keeper
Low Limit - Trapperkeeper from Paul Trillo on Vimeo.
I haven't been posting a lot this week please forgive me, but this had to get put up. I have no Idea who Low Limit are but this electrohiphopprogressivebass track is the bizzness. The video is quite perculiar too but it seems to go well with the production, it's soothing in a guttural way if that makes sense. I'm looking forward to hearing more of stuff from Low Limit, nasty, nasty stuff.

Foot Patrol - Re-opening Details
If you haven't heard once defunct trainer haven Foot Patrol, is going to re-open under the umbrella of JD Sports. It's going to something of a Size? In regards to the deadstock, exclusivity and higher end brands that it will stock. They're talking about stocking Supreme... YES! Though it may be seem similar to Size? Foot Patrol will actually sit above it in JD's hierarchy and will "test," brands before eventually dropping them into Size?
It's going to be around 800sq feet, have a bike rack, seating and all sorts. Apparently its going to be more than just a shopping destination. We shall see.
The new store will open on Berwick street in soho sometime this month.
Good News for the Sneaker Freaks.

Learn From The Ladies...
Individualism have gone out on a limb to teach us bruddas about style by asking the fairer sex. This is a funny and informative piece of footage, hats off to Individualism for going and getting the answers from the people who matter most. I don't know if I agree with all the views, but what do I know, I've got something between my legs.
See anyone you recognise in there.

Twitter shi*
Yea this might seem a bit random but to hell with it, I figured I can post what I feel since I run this blog right here.
I was running through twitter the other day just clicking on this clicking on that, and I came accross a long but very chuckle worthy Trending Topic, #GhettoCelebrityPerfumeNames. Some were tasteless, some were funny, some were pretty shite and boring.
I wanted blog 'em right there and then but at the time I didn't have my precious Netbook with me, so I've gone timeline time tavelling and pulled out a few.

Cool Kids X Karmaloop TV
It's bout time the Cool Kids explain why the hell they haven't dropped their official LP yet, I mean gone fishing was a long ass time ago.
They also drop some knowledge on the problems the new iPhone 4 can bring and why twitter isn't all ways the best thing. If you haven't got their latest Mixtape Tacklebox, you should get it and stop being silly.

Reflection Eternal - Ballad Of Black Gold
Political Kweli and Hi-Tek touching on BP's globally publicised f*ck up.
Reflection Eternal "Ballad of the Black Gold" from Sam Ellison on
Heavy Video, poignant as hell.
"BP was operating the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig when it exploded on 20 April, killing 11 workers and starting the worst oil spill in the Gulf's history."
More on BP's incompetence here.

Music Monday...Slum Village (count the ways)
I have rediscovered this joint over the past week that we've been dealt some pretty decent weather. Slum village seems to be the perfect sound track to any hot day, it's lounging music.
Happy Monday...

Pics and Shi* ....Benjart X Gfrsh @ Proud Camden
Remember when I told you kids to come along to Milly's world, well to those who didn't follow my informed piece of advise you missed out on a very pleasant evening if I do say so my self. I hadn't been to the Proud galleries before so it was going to be a new experience for me regardless of how the night turned out, but the problem with this was I didn't have a clue where the Proud gallery actually was.
I found it after a bit of wandering, it was a bit quiet at first and they had set up the Benjart Shop waaaaayyy over in a dark corner for whatever reason, so naturally the mood in the Benjart camp wasn't the best.
The Stow, were the first act up and I can't lie the crowd was a bit stiff (Myself included) not that they weren't a good band but at that point the crowd was STIFF! They did their thing respectively and when their set was done, I had to dip out real quick to collect my sidekick for the night Alice. By the time I had returned the crowd was a bit loose and the Benjart shop had been moved to the front so it was looking up.
Random Impulse was next up and he kept apologising for bringing his guitar to a hip hop night but the crowd as I mentioned before had loosened up so I think he got a better response than he was expecting.
By this time a couple tee's had been sold an Sincere, Bigz, S.A.S, Grime Daily, Wizzy Wow and Smiler MC had all squeezed up inside, 'cos it was Gfrsh's time to take the stage.
I gotta say I knew G had bars but I didn't know he had such a performance in his locker, so I've got a new found respect for the brutha, he tore it up, had groupies jumping on stage an all sorts.
P.S > I would have taken more pics but my battery died, allow me.
