There's a lot of special edition G shocks running around these days, Bape and Play Cloth's etc etc have all dropped signature versions. I'm not knocking 'em, but the Wood Shock from Saint48 X Prplmnt is the most creative and best looking of them all(yeah I said it).

Each watch is hand crafted / laser etched and retains the full functions of the origianal G Shock. Its available in 2 colour schemes, (Red and Black) but its said that more are on the way.If you want one hit the links above and it'll be setting you back a neat $250, I can't be bothered to convert it to Pounds...you do the math.

88keys flipped this remix sometime ago, when Comm was recording the BE album. 'Ye apparently when nuts for it, but Common unfortunately did not, so 88 flung it out there so the world could hear.

Palladium boots have put together this short film on the culture of Pirate radio as part of their Exploration series. If you were a the type who used to live and die by Mystik FM, Heat, Rinse and had to fight with the radio antennae to pick up De Ja Vu, its a must view. Shows you the in's an out's of the old school Pirates in estate blocks and the prehistoric roots of  Pirate radio out at sea courtesy of some ooolllldddd school Pirate DJ's.

Phonte addresses the reasons behind the split of LB, its some passionate stuff. Its sad that they had to split, two ill ryhmers and one the best beat makers to touch the MPC. Seemed like a deadly combination music wise, but I guess too many cooks to spoil the broth.

A few hours in Stu.

I ain't been in the lab for a second, books and exams have been running me over.I got a chance to holla at 8th ball (ICF) and get some minutes in over the weekend, Elz was sitting on some heat so we got busy on that...but annoyingly didn't finish. DTA LDN

Out the inbox, DTA has come to LDN, the LA streetwear brand have launched an arm in the big smoke that is our capital city. They've got down with the likes of Griminal, Proffesor Green and Tempa T. It looks cool enough and there's no harm in more credible street wear brands coming over to London. I'm digging Prof Greens hoodie...nice stuff.

Keep a look out for more LDN heads in DTA I think they like the urban lot.

Pac Div Feat Cool Kids ...Shut Up

Remember kwaay back, when I found Pacific Division's "Paper," and  thought it was one of the best things since white air force 1's. Well it was only a matter of time till they got down with the Cool Kids, as Chuck and Mikey are managed by the same dude as Pac Div. "Shut up," is what they came up with in a session that I suspect was heavily  fuelled by green and...well yea just green.

Selah, MzBratt and Sadie Ama come together to make a mothers day anthem, in celebration of the power of a woman. RE:Pokemon (Competition Time.)

Leakers you guys remember Pokemon, If you don't, all I can do is apologise for the terrible childhood you had to endure.I can honestly say at one point I wanted to be a Pokemon master from the ages of 10-12, but now that dream is over and all I do is blog and study all day *Sigh*

But there's still hope for you Leakers. Nintendo are readying themselves to release Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver and to celebrate their release, Nintendo have teamed up with the Vice gang, given a bunch of artists free reign to create their own critters for capture, and are throwing an exhibition in Shoreditch from the 24th - 31st of March.

The exhibit is going kick off with an exclusive party (only cool kids allowed) with music from the Friendly fires Vice approved DJ's, Nintendo Gadgets and Pokemon inspired food and a lot of free booze ...Sound like fun?

Young "Diggy," Simmons takes on Nas' made you look, the kid does the business too. The more I go on twitter the more I find the illest freestyles just floating around.For instance, the Carolina based hip hop group @Kooleyhigh put up a link for their Girls joint presented by 9th Wonder (what does that mean?), so I as per usual I let my ears be the judge.

Rapsody goes in, I knew the girl had skills but this was ridiculous, get your eardrums around it, and if you say she just did "OK," I dont think we can be friends any more.

ooohhh, check these new Vans Authentics, from the California 2010 Collection. The colours on this classic shoe are very cool and breezy.The laces are my favourite, Vans call them "Premium," I dont know what can be premium about laces, i just love the tone. These particular vans can be copped @ wish, you gotta pay in dollars though around $58 to be exact.

Will this man ever see Jail, they keep trying to lock @liltunechi in the big house, but it looks like the gods of fate are having none. First Weezy had to have his dentures adjusted and have something along the lines of 8 route canals in one day, and now by some "coincidence," the courthouse that Wayne the "Fireman,"  was going to be sentenced in caught fire. Causing everyone to be evacuated, and his sentencing being postponed.


But I'm not a fan of coincidence,  my guess is, one of the YM cronies, probably Lil Chuckie or  Lil Twist went to work with a box of matches and fire-lighters.

Laws a Brazilian born rapper, I downloaded his mixtape/FeEP last week, had on rotation for a hot minute this is one of the more energetic joints produced by DJ Khalil.  (Perfect for getting up in the morning)
