Doneao Mixtape...

Remember I leaked you lot a Doneao hip hop joint, way back then, well the full mixtape has been released, and you know im all about sharing the love and the free music.
I haven't managed to have a listen my self, but Doneao is a living, breathing, sleeping, singing SMASH machine, (he makes bangers in other words) so I'm going to give it a thumbs up regardless.

Odd Winter is a third instalment of of Oddisee's "Odd" series of Season Mixptapes/Albums
Oddisee is a Phili born Emcee and producer who's worked with the likes of Talib kweli and Little Brother.
And you know im down with both, so its only natural that i promote that good ish on The Leak, so heres Odd winter for you guys and girls to enjoy.

Corrine bailey rae New Album...Sneak Listen.

The girl who told  us to put our records on, has returned after two years of absense since the death of her spouse. The 11 track Album named The Sea, is a very personal and intimate record with many of the tracks related to the death of the her Husband which could be said to be expected, though there are couple numbers on there that could surprise those who were fans of her last album.
The lead single "i'll do it again"  was said to be writted after the young couple had an argument two months before she was bereaved, and it's some song i can tell you that.

17 hours in Stu.

17 hours holed up in a bunker in South london with Footsteps (Producer) and Elz (Hidden member of the leak/ producer) with only Ginger wine (foots Idea), Walkers Thai Sweet Chilli and kebabs for sustenance. But it was all in the name of good music so it was all good. I got to hear some stuff that I wasnt supposed to that Footsteps was working on.(Look out) and Elz and I worked our magic on a couple of joints. (more on that later)

Chipmunk-Mixtape For the fun of it.

Mr.Munk has given us a likkle freebie in the shape of "Just for fun," The Mixtape.
This should lay to rest the claims that Chippy aint going "ard," and that he "aint got bars," bla bla bla...I havnt had a listen yet my self.

Chipmunk does GO IN! on this fleestyle, and he is doing big arse things. BUT aint this freestyle overly arrogant, i kno i kno, Jay Z's arrogant so on and so forth, but its Jay Z and we know Chip your super dupa rich now, but FAAAK!  Its a bit much.

What is Jay Z thinking?

Jay-Z wants to launch Cheryl Cole in the US....
Jay-Z has said he very much wants to help launch Cheryl Cole as a solo artist in the US, and he wants to become more involved with The X Factor. Jay-Z said of the Geordie judge,

"I know how hot Cheryl is in the UK. The US market is the toughest one to break into, but I think Cheryl has that talent to do it."

Im kinda upset he said talent, (no hate) I just think that Cheryl Cole is one lucky sunnova something, but hey when Jigga is Co signing your movement,  you've got to be doing something right.

But it could go all tits up, Who remembers when Dame had the light bulb moment of trying to blow Posh spice in the US, somebody tell me how that all worked out?

Purple Tape : Big Pooh ( of Little Brother )

Best thing since sliced bread

Gone are the days when it rains and multiple males are thinking "Damn...my hat is gonna be fucke*!" becuase we all know once a  crisp new era is exposed to the elements its pretty much on its way out.
Gone are those days I say! New Era have done it...its finally here i've been crying out for this invention for as long as I've been rockin' the 59fifty ( so since year 10..do the math) A WATER PROOF NEW ERA!
.....yes let it sink in..
Its not made from wool any more...but who cares, it will get wet and wont turn into a crumpled mess..many a life has been changed.


Pity is i don't think your going to pick one up from your local...the only place i think you can cop these rare beauty's is online.

2010, what we're probably going to see...

Happy near year all my Leakers, since this my  first post of this decade, I wanted to start off with things thats with or without our approval are probably going to happen this year.

1) Grime daily takes over the world (They've already got a show on flava) there aint no stopping them now..props  are due.
2) Drakes album gets pushed back....and then finally released and does ridicustupid numbers but may have a suspect feature on the album ie. soldier boy.  (sigh)

3) Kanye interrupts lady Gagas acceptance speech claiming that Madonna was the weirdest A-sexual white woman of all time.
4) Fugitive gets a number 1 and makes a lot of money. (siigghhhh)


5) Wretch 32 amongst others of the more talented UK urbaneers continue the hard work and finally get a breakthrough...(One can only hope)

*6) Susan Boyle releases a Keep fit game on Wii.
