Im in love with this Sh*T

A couple posts back, I was in london and a long lost friend of mine (Mz.Russel) put me onto PAC DIV, a group hailing from L.A, needless to say i blogged as the the song "Paper," was too cool for school.

Now the trio have dropped two videos from their Mixtape, "Church League Champions."

The tunes are superdopeillyrapoldschoolrawshi*

Pac Div

Whiplash

Talent...i lie?

It may not be super cool kid cudi-esque space boy music but it takes you back to what hip hop used to be (not saying the ish is pants) but its nice to get some variety.

Concrete Jungle!

Scorcher Skywalker has dropped his full début Concrete Jungle. I've heard word on road that a lot a peeps are scepticle about this release due to lisping ting(sigh), don't be fooled this album is the bees knees, the production on all the tracks is as Scorcher said when we caught up with him (check the archives), "Top Notch" (big up J f.l.o.w.s and Wizzy wow in Particular) and there's variety as well,it not all trap rap and grease greaze. (is that how u spell it)

Any way I've left you leakers with a couple of my favourite joints off the album, and one just for the ladies--->check for the full review in next months Da-Mjuzik magazine.<---

Apologies.

I know, I know, recently there has been no leakage for an unprecidented length of time, we are trying to ensure this happens ....never ever again.

Thanks

BlakRoc and Roll.

Im excited people im very very excited one of those young Thunder cats over at heynuworld pointed me in the direction of a very tasty musical morsel.

Question: First what do you get when Dame dash gets some of raps illest and sometimes underrated talents like Mos Def, Pharough Monch , Reakwon ,Ludacris, Nicole Wray and Jim Jones (to name a few) collaborating with the Black Keys, a Blues /Rock outfit from Ohio.

Answer: Eleven Ill tracks, Eleven Artists, in eleven days

Blakroc Project from Myrhax on Vimeo.

I'm so sure that Dame has hit the right note on this venture, not because i think this album will sell out in HMV, or digitally or whatever....(I plan to buy it...honest). In fact I predict that this highly creative project will do modest numbers, but will endure real hip hop music fans critical acclaim, and the artists will have the knowledge that they contributed to something which was not typical of the times and that will can be categorized as real wholesome, bass blaring, drum thumping goodness.

Heres a little Sample:Jim Jones-Mos Def- The Black Keys (The Band)

BlackRoc- drops 27.11.09

It Must be the leak....
